You may have received an 'Anglia Couriers Return Saver' flyer from us recently or you may simply be browsing the site. Either way, we appreciate your interest and understand that you may have some questions about how the backload offer works. We've tried to answer some of them below:

What is a backload?

Quite simply, when one of our vehicles has made a delivery we try to find a load for its journey back to base. Hence the term 'backload'.

Why is it of benefit to me?

• You will get a discounted, secure, sameday delivery
• Carbon emissions are reduced because there is no need for another van to deliver your goods
• They will be covered by £15,000 goods in transit insurance per vehicle.
• We can track your delivery in real time - we can tell you exactly where it is and approximately what time it will arrive

How much will it cost?

The price of any backload will vary depending on where goods are picked up from and delivered to and the size of the consignment. For a specific quote please call us but to give you an idea of potential savings:

5 pallets Bristol – Birmingham £150.00 + VAT
2 pallets Southampton - Derby £75.00 + VAT

Remember, this is a guide price for a dedicated vehicle not an overnight service.

Where can we send backloads to?

Your goods can be delivered anywhere that is very roughly on the way back to our Castle Donington site (J24 of the M1 between Derby, Nottingham and Leicester) or beyond. For example, if you are a company in Southampton and have a delivery for Leeds we would charge a backload rate between Southampton and Castle Donington and standard rate between Castle Donington and Leeds.

How will we know when it's been delivered?

We will call you with a proof of delivery (POD) or alternatively we can arrange to have a POD sent direct to your e-mail inbox within seconds of delivery.

We've never heard of Anglia Courier Express; why should we trust you with our goods?
